AKC Art on screen at Westminster Kennel Club pet dog show

during the upcoming Westminster Kennel Club (WKC) pet dog show, the American Kennel Club will present “The Art of Winning Westminster,” a special art display portraying past Westminster finest in show winners. The screen will include eleven works of art from the AKC collection, including seven paintings as well as two bronzes of previous “top dogs,” a 1906 trophy as well as an 1879 certificate awarded at the WKC’s third show.

The display will be offered for checking out booth # 3 at Pier 94 (55th street as well as the West Side Highway), where the day judging for the WKC will be held Monday as well as Tuesday, February 10-11, 2014.
