Last year we were quite worried Leo would knock down the
Christmas tree. luckily he didn’t, however he did come close! He was very
interested in the tree, though. Every possibility he got, he would sniff all around
it as well as nudge the lights as well as ornaments. We made the right decision in buying all
plastic ornaments since he would pull them down as well.
This year he is still extremely much thinking about the tree but
he doesn’t knock the ornaments down, at least not with his nose, that is. His
tail, on the other hand, is a totally different story. Leo’s tail alone can
take anything down, including all of the ornaments that get in the way. Our
tree has only been up for 2 weeks now as well as all of the ornaments that were at
Leo’s tail height have now been moved up. So now there’s a huge space in the tree because
I got tired of choosing up ornaments that went flying when Leo’s overly
exuberant tail passed by. Leo doesn’t seem to mind.
Maybe next year we’ll be able to get some poinsettias, but
that’s a far stretch since Leo absolutely likes to ruin any type of houseplant.
